We offer a unique opportunity for children to not only learn and develop pottery skills, but also experience the thrill of throwing on an actual potter's wheel, if possible. Our classes emphasise the importance of sharing skills and fostering creativity among the kids. Through working with clay, they will not only acquire the necessary skills and techniques in pottery, but also valuable life lessons of trial and error, failure and perseverance. The cost for each session is £40 , which includes all materials, tools and first kiln firings. All ceramics made will be fired and glazed.
Children will learn basic hand-building pottery techniques to create a fun animal-themed plant pot. They will explore shape, texture, and creativity while developing confidence in working with clay.
